Eliwana is a major iron ore mine operated by Fortescue. FPS was engaged through a principal contractor to deliver specialised HDPE welding services for critical washdown water infrastructure.Scope of services
FPS supplied all HDPE welding equipment and specialised personnel for the installation of more than 2,500 metres of HDPE drainage and pumped lines. Pipe diameters ranged from 65mm to 560mm, requiring versatile welding capability and precise execution across multiple sizes and configurations in a remote Pilbara environment.Outcome
This complex package of works was delivered efficiently and to the required standard, including commissioning of the essential mine washdown water systems.
